Installation

Add the Sellzar Premium theme to your Shopify store directly from the Shopify Theme Store.

Shopify Theme Store Installation

Because Sellzar is an officially licensed Shopify theme, the installation process is handled entirely and securely within the Shopify ecosystem. You do not need to download, extract, or manually upload any ZIP files.

Locate Sellzar on the Shopify Theme Store

Go to the Shopify Theme Store and search for Sellzar.

Add the Theme as a Trial

Click Try theme. If prompted, log into your Shopify Admin dashboard. The theme will be automatically added to your draft Theme library under Online Store > Themes.

Customize in Sandbox Mode

In your Theme library, click Customizenext to the Sellzar trial theme. You can configure sections, test features, and preview layouts using your store's real catalog completely free of charge.

Purchase and Go Live

Once satisfied, click Buy theme from the Theme library page or the Theme Customizer to finalize your purchase. Click Publish to make Sellzar the active, live theme for your store.

No Coding Required
Sellzar is built entirely on the Online Store 2.0 architecture. All components can be added, removed, and configured directly via the Shopify drag-and-drop Theme Editor without editing any code.

Alternative Method: Manual ZIP Upload

If you have received a customized development package, a backup build, or a specific version from our support team, you can manually upload the theme as a ZIP file.

Ensure you have the theme package saved on your computer as a compressed .zip file. Do not unzip or extract the file contents.

Log in to your Shopify Admin dashboard and navigate to Online Store > Themes.

Scroll down to the Theme library section, click the Add theme dropdown button, and select Upload zip file.

Click Choose file, select your theme ZIP file from your local machine, and click Upload file. Once uploaded, click Publish to make the theme live.
Updates Warning
Themes uploaded manually via ZIP files do not automatically receive update notifications from the Shopify Theme Store. To receive seamless automated updates, we recommend installing the theme directly from the Theme Store.

Pre-Installation Checklist

Before completing your purchase and going live, we recommend ensuring:

  • Shopify OS 2.0 Compatibility: Ensure your store layout is ready for section-everywhere block layouts.
  • Product Catalog Readiness: Standardize your product variant option names (e.g. Color, Size) in your Shopify Admin for automated color swatch mapping.
  • Store Currency & Locales:Set up your preferred currencies and languages in Shopify settings to enable Sellzar's native multi-currency and multi-language controls.
