Sellzar natively supports Shopify's 3D models and Augmented Reality (AR), allowing customers to view products in their own space.
How it Works
When you upload a 3D model (.glb or .usdz) to a product in Shopify, Sellzar automatically detects the file and integrates it into the product media gallery.
Customers can rotate, zoom, and tilt the product 360° directly on the product page. The viewer is touch-optimized for mobile.
On mobile devices, a "View in your space" button appears, launching the device's native AR camera (AR Quick Look for iOS, Scene Viewer for Android).
Technical Optimization
The model-viewer script is only loaded if 3D content is detected, saving ~200kb of initial page weight.
Thumbnails are automatically badged with an interactive 3D icon to encourage user interaction.
Displays a high-quality static image (poster) while the 3D model is downloading in the background.
.usdz files from your .glb uploads, so focus on high-quality GLB files.
